Our Approach
Sustainability sits at the heart of how we plan, deliver and evolve our work. We know the impact events can have — and we believe it’s our responsibility to reduce that impact wherever we can, and to work with others who share that mindset.
It’s not just a policy. It’s part of how we build infrastructure, book transport, manage materials, choose suppliers, and talk to our clients. We don’t claim to be perfect — but we are committed, proactive, and transparent about what we’re doing and what still needs work.
We’re working through a full business-wide sustainability review with our external consultant — focusing on measurable change, not just pledges. That includes:
- A five-year strategy aligned to environmental targets
- Public reporting of our Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions (via TRACE by isla)
- Clear KPIs across events, operations and supply chain
- Ongoing policy reviews and staff training

Key Actions We’re Taking
We apply the waste hierarchy across every stage of event planning and delivery — starting with prevention, then reuse, then recycling.
Our focus is on reducing unnecessary materials, cutting down single-use items, and designing smart systems that keep waste to a minimum without compromising quality or experience.
- We work with clients to eliminate unnecessary print and packaging
- Single-use plastics are phased out wherever possible — replaced with compostable serveware, refill stations, and reusable alternatives
- On-site operations are designed for reuse: from cable ties to signage, we avoid waste wherever we can
- Our warehouse team tracks stock and stores kit to prolong life and avoid over-ordering
- We work with licensed waste providers and recycling partners at events and in our warehouse to manage materials responsibly
- We encourage repurposing, repair and donation before recycling — especially for event materials and structures
Sustainability starts well before we get to site. We consider the environmental impact of every purchase — whether it’s crew kit, signage, infrastructure or catering — and we work with suppliers who meet our environmental and ethical standards.
- Preference for reusable, recyclable or compostable products across all event elements
- All printed materials are produced by ISO 14001:2015 certified, carbon-balanced printers
- Where possible, we avoid date-specific artwork and over-ordering to reduce waste
- We support ethical, low-impact sourcing for infrastructure, materials and crew kit
- Sustainable catering options are prioritised in our planning where we control F&B
We plan smarter so we move less — cutting emissions without compromising delivery.
- We consolidate deliveries and streamline kit movements to reduce vehicle trips
- Electric and low-emission vehicles are used wherever possible
- Local suppliers, storage, and on-site compounds reduce the need for long-distance trucking
- We plan crew travel and site access with efficiency in mind — combining journeys and sharing vehicles
- We work with suppliers to consider weight, volume and sustainability of freight
