Brighton Marathon Weekend

The Opportunity

We’ve worked on the Brighton Marathon since 2018, initially supporting the original team at Grounded Events with event site delivery and operations. When London Marathon Events took over the event in 2022, we continued to provide full event production support — working collaboratively with LME to help grow and evolve the event into one of the biggest and most well-delivered marathons in the UK.

The Work

Our team supports delivery across the start, finish and route, providing a full suite of event production services. This includes:

  • Pre‑planning and timeline development

  • Site planning and layout design

  • Documentation

  • Route planning and management
  • Supplier logistics

  • On-site staffing for install, live event and de-rig

We work as an extension of the LME team, integrating seamlessly with their structure and sharing our knowledge of city builds, large‑scale route planning and public‑facing event delivery.

The Highlights

  • Supporting 40,000+ marathon participants annually

  • Coordinating over 200 live event staff across multiple zones and roles

  • Delivering a consistent, well‑managed experience from build to de‑rig

  • Helping transition the event through a major organisational handover

  • Contributing to the growth and profile of one of the UK’s premier mass participation events
